Valerian (valerian) is the most commonly used plant
for sleep and sedation. The valerian is also great as a
means of, among others, for painful period and stomach
discomfort, because it has diastolic properties.

It shows primarily a calming effect, therefore it is mainly
used as a "calming" agent in the states of mild nervous
tension as well as in nervous falling asleep disorders.
