Tulasi, holy basil - herb 50 g
Holy Basil (Ocimum sanctum, Ocimum tenuiflorum), also known as tulsi or tulasi, is an aromatic plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family, characterized by serrated, oval leaves and small, purple flowers. It naturally occurs in tropical areas of Asia, including India, Malaysia, and China. The herb, being the main raw material obtained from this plant, is rich in a wide range of essential oils that exhibit health-supporting properties, and also contains other valuable active ingredients, such as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and mineral salts. Holy Basil is exceptionally valued by the people of the Far East, especially in India, where it is considered an elixir of longevity, thanks to its comprehensive, beneficial effects on the human body.
