BoundlessBoundless CFC 2.0
Is a small, ergonomic and cheap portable vaporizer with a quick heat-up time, fully digital temperature control, which produces good quality vapor and also allows water filtration. The CFC 2.0 is the successor of the CFC model, which had some design flaws, which resulted in cracking of the plastic mouthpieces, so this time the manufacturer corrected this flaw, and the result is a solid little unit that is worth considering among other portable models around 64 EURO.
Steam quality
Most vaporizer users prefer to get slightly larger clouds from their devices, at the expense of the flavor and aroma of the vapor. CFC 2.0 produces very good quality steam for such a small device. Clouds start to appear around 185°C and below 200°C the vapor tastes decent. Above this temperature, the flavor begins to degrade, and at the highest temperatures it is slightly biting, but the vapor is not hot, because the mouthpiece cools it down quite well.
Heating up
The vaporizer quickly reaches the selected temperature. Heating up to 200 ° C takes less than 30 seconds. This is a very good result, because immediately after turning on our equipment is ready for use, so we do not have to wait long for our vaporizer to heat up and we will finally be able to take a cloud. Here a definite plus for the CFC 2.0, the previous model also heated up very quickly, so the new model is just as good in this respect as its predecessor.
Full temperature control
Digital temperature control is already the norm in most vaporizers available on the market. CFC 2.0 has a range from 60 to 230 ° C, and the temperature can be freely set in 1 ° C steps using the + and - buttons. When you hold one of them, the temperature setting scrolls very quickly. Combined with the fast heat-up time, the set temperature changes almost instantly.
Battery life
CFC 2.0 is equipped with a built-in 18650 battery, which is enough for even 10-12 sessions at lower temperatures, and in the highest temperatures this time will be slightly shorter. So overall we can expect around 8-10 sessions on a fully charged battery. So if someone does not consume very large amounts of herbs, CFC 2.0 is enough for 1 or even 2 days of vaping, it all depends on the number of sessions. When the battery is discharged, it can take up to 3 hours to fully charge it, so remember to charge it earlier when you have several sessions with this vap planned. We cannot use CFC 2.0 and charge the battery at the same time, as in many other models. If someone wants a replaceable battery, BoundlessBoundless has a similar model in its offer, just with a replaceable 18350 type battery. See BoundlessBoundless CFC Lite.
Water adapter
BoundlessBoundless has included a water adapter for CFC 2.0. Many people use water filtration and here a big plus for the manufacturer, because the adapter is included in the set and we do not have to buy it separately. The adapter is made of plastic and fits water filters with standard cuts of 14 and 18 mm. The adapter is mounted in place of the mouthpiece and then the whole thing is connected to the water filter. The steam passed through the water will be softer, more chilled and tastier for our throat and lungs.
Chamber and dried material consumption
The chamber in the CFC 2.0 is made of ceramic and, like in the CFC model, it has an elongated shape. The chamber can accommodate up to 0.3 g of dry herbs, but you don't need that much to get satisfactory results. The air flow is at an average level, so if we pack the chamber too much and tightly, the vaporizer will not be able to evenly heat its contents and provide us with good vapor. It is not recommended to whip herbs in any vaporizer. The right amount of herbs will be evenly heated and evaporated from the chamber, even without the need to mix them during the session. The set with CFC 2.0 does not include any pad or container for concentrates, so if someone would like to vaporize something more than herbs, they have to be a bit creative or look for a pad that will match the model of a different vaporizer.
Summary
The CFC 2.0 is slightly larger and heavier than its teardrop-shaped predecessor, tapering towards the chamber, creating hot spots and cracks in the housing. The redesigned CFC 2.0 has a regular shape. As a result, it remains cooler and should not cause structural problems. The housing is also made of a material that can be easily cleaned with isopropyl alcohol without fear of damaging it. The price of these devices is also satisfactory, because they are quite cheap vaporizers that satisfy with their performance.
