CBG, or cannabigerol, is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in hemp. It is extracted from the flowers of industrial hemp. The therapeutic potential of CBG is surprisingly valuable. CBG, unlike THC, and similar to CBD, does not have psychoactive effects.
10ml 5% CBG = 500mg cannabinoids in approximately 200 drops (10ml) = approx. 2.5mg of CBG per drop.
The health benefits of cannabinoid extracts, cold-pressed oil-based extracts, are the reason for the growing interest in their use in daily health prevention and as a healing aid.
CBG has antipsychotic, antidepressant, and bone-stimulating properties. It has been found to be an effective cytotoxic agent acting on human epithelial cancer, and the second most effective phytocannabinoid after CBD in fighting breast cancer. CBD, CBC, and CBG also show synergistic effects, influencing apoptosis in cancer cells and aiding in anxiety treatment.
Numerous experiments have shown that CBG offers great therapeutic hope in the context of Huntington's disease (a genetic disorder of the central nervous system that manifests in motor disorders, mental disturbances, and dementia) and nerve damage. Research findings also suggest that CBG may slow the growth of some tumors and suppress excessive brain inflammation (reducing microglial activation and inhibiting neuroinflammation).
More and more studies on the impact of CBG on human body functions suggest that cannabigerol offers a wide range of effects, especially through its synergistic interaction with CBD and terpenes present in hemp.
Current research suggests that cannabigerol (CBG) has properties such as:
– Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory,
– Pain-relieving,
– Calming and soothing,
– Anti-anxiety and antidepressant,
– Neuroprotective (due to preventing or delaying nerve cell degradation by protecting the myelin sheath of nerve fibers),
– Anticancer (due to promoting apoptosis, or the natural death of cancer cells, and slowing the growth of cancer cells),
– Antibacterial and antifungal.
CBG reduces the reuptake of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), a neurotransmitter that inhibits neuronal activity. Reducing the reuptake of this neurotransmitter increases its levels in the brain (in the synaptic space), contributing to an anti-anxiety, calming effect, and muscle relaxation. A similar mechanism applies to some drugs used in epilepsy therapy (e.g., GABA analogs).
In the early 1990s, scientists demonstrated that CBG has analgesic and anti-erythemic effects – it blocks lipoxygenase activity and works more effectively than most commonly used painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs. Due to its strong antioxidant properties and ability to reduce inflammation, CBG may alleviate symptoms and, more importantly, the causes of inflammatory bowel disease, which more and more people are struggling with. This is particularly important because CBG affects the nervous system and has a calming effect, which may help alleviate the psychosomatic basis of this disease.
Effects of CBG:
– Antidepressant (improves mood).
– Stimulates brain function (supports neuron growth and unblocks neural connections).
– Stimulates bones (promotes bone growth).
– Antibacterial (slows bacterial growth).
– Anticonvulsant (reduces seizures and spasms).
– Anti-inflammatory (reduces inflammation).
– Anti-proliferative (inhibits cancer cell growth).
The oil contains a full-spectrum hemp extract, meaning it retains the natural, interactive set of cannabinoids and the full range of terpenes present in hemp intended for extraction. No isolates or laboratory substances were used in its production, and the extract was not enriched or degraded. Natural cold-pressed tomato seed oil (5%) was added to extend shelf life and prevent rancidity. Additionally, tomato seed oil contains lycopene, an antioxidant that helps fight free radicals.
The hemp aroma oil with CBD and CBG content is a natural plant extract obtained through an alcohol extraction method in a laboratory. In this process, alcohol is the solvent for cannabinoids, and they are then transferred to the oil base. This is not a medicinal product as defined by the Pharmaceutical Law of September 6, 2001, and does not require a prescription, although if used for health purposes by non-professional users, consultation with a doctor or natural therapy specialist is recommended.
Cannabinoids and terpenes from the hemp flower are released into the hemp seed oil. All hemp raw materials (except for the added tomato seed oil) are sourced from organic cultivation on our Marya Hemp Plantation in Kryształowice.
It is recommended to use the oil only cold, as it loses its valuable properties at high temperatures. It may contain a natural sediment, which forms both during the pressing of seed oil and the maceration process of dried hemp. Sedimentation in hemp oil is a natural process and indicates high quality and a natural product composition. The oil bottle should be shaken before use to stir the sediment.
At the plantation, CBG oil can be ordered in bulk quantities and larger volumes. Each product is labeled with an expiration date, and testers can use 10ml samples. The plantation is located in the ecological zone of the Czarna Woda river. We also conduct soil and hemp dry matter tests, ensuring compliance with heavy metal and pesticide residue standards.
